Doc Before Tombstone

Doc Holiday never stayed in one place for long. He either gets in a lot of trouble or just plain bored. Whenever he got himself into legal problems, he was off to a new place again. He never had too much money on him, according to Kate Elder the most he has ever had in the bank was $8,000, but not from gamboling, it was an inheritance. He was a major gambler but never won too much. When Wyatt Earp, sent him a letter saying there was a need for a man with a talent for playing cards, Doc was off to Tombstone. Doc was currently had a relationship with Kate Elder, or also known as the prostitute Big Nose Kate. She had no joy in going to Tombstone, so she threatened Doc that if he goes to Tombstone she wouldn’t come with. They both packed and parted ways. She ran off to eastern Arizona, and Doc began his journey to Tombstone, Arizona. They did not separate completely, on some legal papers Kate still signed her name "Kate Holiday". Doc took some pit stops in Las Vegas and New Mexico to let some old friends know that he was doing fine. He arrived in Tombstone by late September.
